Welcome to my garden! 

My name is Barbara (Babs) Schnabl and I blend my love of flowers and time in my garden into pressed flower creations. Many ask me how this all began and I have to say that it was a "God" thing. Many times our talents and gifts are birthed in the midst of adversity as was mine. I am married to my very bestest friend and we have three beautiful boys. Our oldest son had a stroke at seven, my husband lost his job, and we were pregnant with our third all at the same time. Time in the garden and working with my hands became therapy. When given lemons, make lemonade or pressed flower art in my case! Encouragement from a friend pushed me to sell my creations and much to my surprise and delight, they did! Windows to the garden was birthed and I am so very grateful. Psalms 90:12 says, "teach us to number our days so we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." I do not want to be doing what I was not meant to...life is short...
